Dr. Sonya Havens is the Senior Research Chemist at IISD Experimental Lakes Area.
She specializes in environmental analytical chemistry, biogeochemistry, and limnology and has experience in electrochemistry, microbiology, inorganic chemistry, and organic chemistry.
In addition to applying her expertise to the Long-Term Ecological Research program and whole-ecosystem experiments at IISD Experimental Lakes Area, she manages the Chemistry Department, which includes an on-site Analytical Service Laboratory, as well as the In-situ Monitoring Program. .
